Inkless Scar & Stretch Mark Rehabilitation

Embrace Skin Renewal

Inkless stretch mark revision is a minimally invasive treatment that helps soften texture, boost collagen, and visibly improve the look of stretch marks. In a recent study of a similar serum‑based technique, 78% of clients noticed visible improvement, 65% saw noticeable change after just one session, and 72% experienced improvement within two weeks. Results vary by skin type and stretch mark age, but most clients see smoother, more blended skin with little to no downtime.

Pigment Scar & Stretch Mark Camouflage

Confidence-Boosting Solutions

Pigment Scar & Stretch Mark Camouflage uses specialized flesh‑toned pigments to blend scars and stretch marks into the surrounding skin, reducing contrast so they are far less noticeable. In a clinical trial of a professional camouflage technique, 30–60% visible improvement was seen after just one session, with several treatments recommended for best results. This method does not remove scars or stretch marks, but it can significantly soften their appearance and create a more even, confident look, especially when performed by a trained paramedical tattoo artist.

3D Areola Restoration

Empowerment Through Restoration

3D areola restoration is a specialized paramedical tattooing technique that recreates the look of a natural nipple–areola complex after breast surgery, using advanced shading and color to give a realistic 3D effect. Creating meaningful improvements in quality of life, including psychosocial and sexual well‑being, considering the tattooing process an important final step in feeling “complete” after reconstruction.

Scalp Regeneration & Micropigmentation

-Coming soon-

REGENERATION: Using advanced inkless microneedling combined with a regenerative serum this treatment is used to stimulate follicles, treat thinning hair and loss, and boost scalp health. This non-surgical approach promotes natural regrowth, strengthens existing hair, and improves density with minimal downtime.

MICROPIGMENTATION: a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that deposits tiny pigment dots on the scalp to mimic the look of short hair follicles, effectively camouflaging hair loss, thinning, or scars for a fuller, natural appearance.

FAQ

Is the Procedure Safe?

Yes, when performed by a trained practitioner using sterile, single-use equipment and proper sanitation protocols, paramedical tattooing treatments are considered safe for most healthy individuals.
However, safety depends on:
• Your medical history
• Medications
• Skin condition and scar maturity
• Healing ability
This is why an in-person consultation and medical intake are required before treatment.
If there are any risk factors, we will discuss them honestly and decide together whether treatment is appropriate.

How Long Do Results Last?

Pigment Scar Camouflage
• Typically lasts 2–5 years
• May fade gradually over time
• Touch-ups are common to maintain color match
Sun exposure and skin type affect longevity.

Inkless Scar & Stretch Mark Revision
• Results are long-lasting because the goal is improving texture and collagen production, not depositing color
• Some clients choose maintenance sessions, but many do not need them

3D Areola Tattoo
• Usually lasts 3–7 years
• Gradual fading is normal
• Touch-ups may be done to refresh color

What does aftercare and downtime look like?

Downtime is generally mild compared to traditional tattooing.
Most clients experience:
• Mild redness for 24–72 hours
• Slight dryness or flaking
• Sensitivity in the area
You can usually return to normal daily activity the same or next day, with some restrictions.
Aftercare typically includes:
• Keeping the area clean and dry
• Avoiding friction or sweating initially
• Avoiding sun exposure while healing
• Following specific instructions based on treatment type
You will receive a detailed aftercare sheet specific to:
• Areola tattoo
• Inkless treatments
• Pigment camouflage

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Before your consultation or treatment:
• Stay well hydrated
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
• Avoid excessive sun exposure for at least one week
• Do not apply lotions or oils to the area the day of treatment
• Eat beforehand to help regulate blood sugar

What happens if I get tanned after scar camouflage?

Scar camouflage pigment is matched to your current skin tone.
If surrounding skin darkens from tanning:
• The treated area may appear lighter in comparison
• Contrast can become visible again
To maintain the best result:
• Avoid tanning during healing plus 4-6 weeks before & after
• Use SPF consistently
• Plan treatments when your skin tone is at its most natural baseline
If skin tone changes significantly over time, a color adjustment session may be possible.

What do I need to avoid after treatments?

General guidelines (exact timing will be provided for your treatment type):
For about 7–14 days:
• Heavy sweating or workouts
• Swimming, baths, or hot tubs
• Saunas or steam rooms
• Sun exposure or tanning
• Tight or abrasive clothing over the area
For about 4 weeks:
• Direct sun or tanning beds on the treated area
These timelines protect pigment retention and healing quality.

Are consultations free?

The $60 consultation fee is applied toward your treatment if you move forward. so no, but yes.
The consultation includes:
• Skin assessment
• Scar evaluation
• Treatment plan
• Realistic expectations
• A small practice test spot if appropriate
This ensures safe and personalized treatment planning.

Is 3D areola tattoo covered by medical insurance?

In some cases, yes.
Under the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act (WHCRA), many insurance plans that cover breast reconstruction also cover areola tattooing as part of the reconstruction process.
Coverage varies by provider and policy.
SKINarrative can provide:
